Statement of Heritage Significance:
Architecture/Environment:
A single story dwelling comprising a gambrel iron roof. The front verandah has wooden flooring and is supported by chamfered posts decorated with ornate wooden brackets. The dwelling is set in a cottage garden hidden from view by the adjacent orchard. The dwelling is one of the most attractive in the Curlwaa irrigation area, uncharacteristically large and ornate. There appears to have been structural additions including built in verandahs, however the facade is in original condition reminiscent of similar dwellings in Sandwych Street, Wentworth.
History:
The holding is within the second allocation of the irrigation area. First worked by William Winn in 1909 and taken over by Gordon Cumming in 1915. It was settled by his brother Loris who was a founding member of the Delta Co-operative, who used his shed for packing.
Recommendation:
Maintenance of facade and garden
