Changes to lodgement of applications

Development Applications, Subdivision, Construction, Complying, Occupation Certificates and Principal Certifier Appointments must be lodged via the NSW Planning Portal on and from 1 July 2021. All of these application types, excluding Building Information Certificates, from that date forward will come to Council via the Portal.

This means lodgement of these applications will only be accepted via the Planning Portal from 1 July 2021.

The key benefits to you are:

  • Lodgement of your applications without having to make the trip to Council
  • Significant time saved on plan and document printing
  • You can view the progress of your application on the portal

This system has been introduced by the NSW Department of Planning Industry and Environment.
