Development Applications, Subdivision, Construction, Complying, Occupation Certificates and Principal Certifier Appointments must be lodged via the NSW Planning Portal on and from 1 July 2021. All of these application types, excluding Building Information Certificates, from that date forward will come to Council via the Portal.
This means lodgement of these applications will only be accepted via the Planning Portal from 1 July 2021.
To allow Council to transition to the planning portal, any development applications, Complying Development Certificate (CDC) and Post Consent Certificates (Construction, Occupation, Subdivision works and Subdivision) submitted to council after close of business on 25 June 2021 will need to be submitted through the planning portal.
The reason being, before officially lodging them, Council aims to review all new development applications within 2-3 business days of receiving them (Timeframes are a guide only).
