Statement of Heritage Significance:

Architecture/Environment:
A rendered brick dwelling with a high gable iron roof. A small front porch is supported by wooden posts and has a cement pavement exposing original brick paving. The single room dwelling has an attached rear lean-to section with low sloping roof line. A large exterior brick chimney is located on the extended rear wall. The stack is showing evidence of deterioration. The small single fronted cottage is characteristic of early dwellings erected on irrigation allotments. The cottage is aptly surrounded by remnants of vines and orchards. The crude dwelling has no ornamentation and is unique within the newer township of Buronga which is dominated by post war dwellings.
