History:
The PS Ruby was acquired by Wentworth Shire in 1969 and was one of the last boats engaged in passenger and cargo trade on the Murray. The boat is displayed in Fotherby Park and is one of the only visible reminders of the Shires reliance on and role in the era of river trade and transport.
