An unusual rendered brick dwelling displaying Spanish influence design elements, including arched and oiel de boeuf verandah openings. The arches are hooded with an exposed brick outline. The dwelling has an iron hip roof. The property curtilage is defined with a cement rendered fence with curved border featuring an arched gateway. The dwelling was designed and constructed by J Duncan, who also built the Burtundy Homestead and the Chaffey residence ‘Rio Vista’ in Mildura. The dwelling is the only one of its style in the Shire.
