Statement of Heritage Significance:
Architecture/Environment:
History:
The Lethero Hall was constructed over the site of the old dance hall. Attached to the Darling hotel and store and mail change, which was demolished in 1925. Local functions continue to be held at the hall. The hall is maintained and managed by a local trust and has significance as a reminder of the important community ties and traditions established in isolated districts. The hall marks the site of the annual New Years Day picnic which has been continuing for 100 years, and commenced at Lethero 1917 by Charles Summers.
