New $50 Active and Creative Kids vouchers, launching February 2024

The NSW Government is helping low and middle-income families with cost-of-living pressures with the new Active and Creative Kids voucher program. There are two new, combined $50 vouchers that eligible parents, guardians and carers of school-aged children will be able to use per year over the next three years.

Two $50 vouchers will be available in 2024 ($50 in term 1 and $50 in term 3). Each voucher can be used towards the costs of either an eligible sport and recreational or creative and cultural activity.

Vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date;

  • for Term 1 vouchers, before 31 December of each calendar year
  • for Term 3 vouchers, before 15 July of each following calendar year

All providers will need to register to be part of the new program. Parents, guardians and carers of eligible school aged children will be able to download and use their voucher from February 2024.

Organisations can now apply to become an Active and Creative Kids provider through the Service NSW website and Service NSW Business Bureau app.
