Enhanced Services and increased GP availability at CHAC Wentworth

Coomealla Health Aboriginal Corporation (CHAC) proudly celebrated its third anniversary in Wentworth on 31 August 2023. CHAC has announced some significant expansions and introductions to their medical services.

From 5 September 2023, the CHAC medical team grows stronger, welcoming back Dr Mainul Khan and introducing Dr Kay Kyaw, bringing three additional sessions to cater to the health needs of the community.

Further bolstering comprehensive care, November 2023 will witness the launch of a dedicated Skin Cancer Clinic, a pivotal addition to the suite of services.

CHAC’s broad range of services, well-received by the community, includes:

• Health Assessments
• Men’s and Women’s Health
• Childhood and Adult Immunisations
• Telehealth Services
• Spirometry
• Ear Suctions

In their continuous effort to serve the community better, from 11 September 2023 their blood collection services will be available Monday to Thursday, ensuring more flexibility for patients.

CHAC is now open for new patient registrations, urging the community to leverage the extended offerings and services. Affirming the commitment to accessible healthcare, CHAC continues its operations as a fully bulk billing clinic at all of their strategic locations and continues to service Indigenous and Non-Indigenous patients.

Allied Health services at CHAC remain a cornerstone of the clinic, offering expertise in:

• Asthma Education
