Regional Drought Resilience Plan
We want to hear from you. Have your say on our local drought resilience plan.
Wentworth Shire Council and Balranald Shire Council are working together to develop a Regional Drought Resilience Plan and we would value your insights and ideas to help prepare the plan.
By forward-thinking about our opportunities to mitigate, our Drought Resilience Plan can help us to identify the steps that can be taken to minimise drought impacts and maximise our options for better outcomes. An online survey is open and a series of local drop-in sessions and workshops will be held across the both Shires between 16-20 October 2023.
The plan will focus on the role of local government in enhancing drought resilience and your thoughts and ideas are critical.
