Planning Proposal to amend the Wentworth Local Environmental Plan 2011 – Corner of Melaleuca Street and Pitman Avenue, Buronga
In accordance with Section 3.34(2)(c) and Schedule 1 Clause 4 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Wentworth Shire Council gives public notice of the exhibition of a planning proposal to amend the Wentworth LEP 2011. The proposal seeks to:
- Rezone land at the corner of Melaleuca Street and Pitman Avenue Buronga from RU4 to RU5
- Remove the Minimum Lot Size
Pursuant to the conditions of the Gateway Determination issued by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, the following supporting documents will be concurrently exhibited:
The exhibition documents will be on display from 21 July 2025 to 1 September 2025.
If you wish to make a written submission, either by email, in person or post, submissions are to be received by 5.00 pm 1 September 2025. If an objection is made, the grounds of objection must be specified in the submission. Any submissions received may be made public unless a request to withhold is made.
