King’s Birthday Public Holiday – Monday 9 June 2025

Council advises that most Council offices and facilities will be closed on Monday 9 June for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

Service updates for Monday 9 June:

  • Buronga Landfill: Open 8am–4.45pm
  • Wentworth Visitor Information Centre: Open 9am–1pm

Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday 10 June.

Customer requests
Non-urgent enquiries can be submitted via email to council@wentworth.nsw.gov.au across the long weekend and will be actioned from Tuesday 10 June.

Kerbside bin collections
Bin collections will continue as scheduled. Please ensure bins are placed out the night before, as collection may occur earlier than usual.
