Western Weed Survey

Western Weed Survey — Western Local Land Services (WLLS) want to hear from landholders in the Far West 📢

They are coordinating a survey to determine the presence, spread and density of 4 priority weeds in the Far West, with the findings to assist in the planning of on-ground weed control works and future initiatives.

The 4 priority weeds are:

🌵 Hudson Pear (Cylindropuntia pallida)

🌵 Jumping Cholla (Cylindropuntia fulgida)

🌵 Boxing Glove Cactus (Cylindropuntia fulgida var. mamillata)

🌵 Mesquite (Prosopis)

As part of the survey, WLLS will be contacting landholders via phone and undertaking on-ground inspections.

Want to get involved? An online survey is also available for landholders to complete, which will also be followed up with a phone call: https://bit.ly/4bFXg4e

Have your say on the functions and operations of Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman

The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) was established in 2016 to advocate for, and give assistance to, small business and family enterprises. This includes assistance with disputes.

The independent review considers whether the ASBFEO’s functions and operations are effective, and further feedback is being sought through a survey.

The survey will help the Independent Reviewer to ensure the ASBFEO is meeting the needs of the small business community.

Small businesses, family enterprises, the franchising sector and their representatives are invited to provide feedback through the survey. The survey closes on 31 March 2025.
