CLOSURE OF ALL COUNCIL SERVICES
Tuesday 4 November 2025

All Wentworth Shire Council services including customer service centres, Buronga Animal Shelter, Council Depot,
workshop, stores, libraries, waste facilities, Wentworth Visitor Information Centre and Junction Café will be closed
on Tuesday, 4 November 2025 for the Union Picnic Day and will re-open on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.

For emergencies including blocked public drains, damage to local roads, animal control or fallen trees within
Council’s parks and reserves, please call (03) 5027 5027.

In life-threatening emergencies, or for urgent help from Police, Fire or Ambulance services, call 000 (Triple Zero).
Please note: the 11:30am bridge lifts will not operate at Wentworth and Abbotsford bridges to allow for adequate
traffic flow for the Wentworth Races.

Normal services/operating hours re-commence from Wednesday 5 November 2025.
