Understanding the New Collection Schedule

From Monday 5 October 2026, households across Wentworth Shire will have access to a three-bin kerbside collection service.

Under the new schedule:

  • Food and Garden Organics will be collected weekly
  • General waste will be collected fortnightly
  • Recycling will be collected fortnightly on alternate weeks

Your collection day will remain the same.

Residents can find collection details in their launch pack and collection calendar. Becoming familiar with the new schedule before launch day will help ensure the correct bin is presented each week.
