R2025/25 - Drought Resilience Officer
35 Hours per week – 12 month Term Contract
Applications are invited from suitable applicants for the position of Drought Resilience Officer. The primary objective of this role is to support community recovery in the Wentworth and Balranald Shire Council areas. To work with both communities to implement the drought resilience plan, assisting communities to identify needs, develop local recovery programs, assist in accessing information and resources and provide leadership and community capacity building.
The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period and has a commencement salary of $83,985.20 + 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.
