R2025/24 - Companion Animals Officer

Full time permanent position

Applications are invited from suitable applicants for the position of Companion Animals Officer. The primary objective of this role is to undertake animal control and other activities in order to provide an effective and efficient regulatory and enforcement service that meets statutory obligations.

Experience in the handling and care of animals, along with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and enforcement procedures is essential. The successful applicant must be available to participate in a work roster for on-call and weekend work, including public holidays.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period. The full-time position has a commencement salary of $70,179.20 + 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.
