Proposed Road Closing at Gol Gol

In pursuance of the provisions of section 38B of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wentworth Shire Council proposes to close the council public road listed in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1: A portion of Public Road adjoining Lot 1 DP803555, known as 101 Wilga Road, Gol Gol, as shown in the sketch below:

Upon closure of the road, council intends to retain the land for operational purposes.

All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to the General Manager, Wentworth Shire Council, C/- Lauren Kuzman, NSW Public Works, PO Box 546, Wollongong NSW 2500 or via email lauren.kuzman@pwa.nsw.gov.au , within twenty-eight (28) days of the date of this advertisement. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.

Once the submission period is completed, Wentworth Shire Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.
