Gol Gol, Buronga and Dareton Filtered Water Outage

Planned critical works required at Midway Water Tower on 3 & 4 September 2025

Wentworth Shire Council wish to advise the residents and businesses of Gol Gol, Buronga and Dareton (including Mourquong and Namatjira) that filtered water supply will be unavailable due to critical works at the Midway Tower for the following 8 hour period; 10pm, Wednesday 3 September to 6am, Thursday 4 September 2025.

Wentworth Shire Council advises residents to plan for the outage, such as not scheduling water use (showers / washing) during the outage period and to have buckets of water available for toilet flushing.

Raw water supply will not be impacted by the works. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while these critical works occur.
