Team Leader Library Services (Re-advertised)

Council currently has a great opportunity for an experienced, creative and dynamic person to lead our Library Team.  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate high level communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and a proven understanding of the importance of meeting community needs.  They will have strong technology and digital literacy skills and excellent administration skills.  They will be a leader with vision who inspires collaboration and teamwork.

This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period and has a commencement salary of $74,409.19 per annum including superannuation.  The successful applicant may be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.

Development Assessment Officer (Planning)

Closing Date: 4.00pm Tuesday 8 August 2017

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and skilled town planner who is committed to achieving quality outcomes to compliment Council’s Health and Planning Division.

 You will provide professional planning guidance through the development approval process to ensure compliance with the relevant planning instruments, codes and policy.  Additionally you will have the opportunity to assist with the development of various strategic planning documents to guide the future development needs of Wentworth Shire Council.

 This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period and has a commencement salary of $74,409.19 per annum including superannuation.  The successful applicant may be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.

Manager Assets

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining Council’s Asset Management System and associated plans as well as coordinate and manage reserves, acquisitions and related land matters.


Experience in the Asset Management / Infrastructure field as well as a tertiary qualification in civil engineering or associated discipline is essential.


This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period and has a commencement salary of $105,048.61 per annum including superannuation.  The successful applicant may be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.
