Manager Engineering Services - R2019/15

 Full time permanent position

Closing Monday 21 October 2019 at 4.00pm

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking an experienced, well-qualified and motivated leader to fulfil the Manager Engineering Services. This key position works closely with the Director Roads and Engineering and is responsible for managing the delivery of Council’s capital works program.

You will use your design and planning experience along with your strong communication and negotiation skills to lead, motivate and supervise a small team, prepare design documentation, manage external consultants and prepare contract documentation for a wide range of projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes with a high level of customer service.

Executive Assistant to the General Manager R2019/13

Full time permanent position

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking to appoint a highly professional and experienced Executive Assistant to provide strategic executive and administrative support services to the General Manager and the Mayor. 

The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a busy, contemporary office environment that is results-driven and community orientated. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, strong verbal and written communication, exceptional administrative and organisational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.

The Executive Assistant is primarily responsible for the coordination of the day to day activities of the General Manager and the Mayor, along with working closely with others in the team including Councillors, Directors, Manager and Coordinators, to support a leading, modern open organisation.

MANAGER WORKS R2019/14

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking an experienced, well-qualified and highly motivated leader to fulfil the role of Manager Works. This key position works closely with the Director Roads and Engineering and is responsible for the delivery of Council’s operational works program. These works are varied in nature and range from parks and gardens through to roads and related civil works, as well as water and sewerage.

To be successful you will have strong skills and experience in managing people, along with the ability to manage across competing, complex portfolios, ensuring communication and cohesiveness is paramount.
