ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER - R2019/08

Full time permanent position

Closing Monday 8 July 2019 at 4.00pm


Applications are invited for the position of Accounts Payable Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of Council creditors, providing assistance and support to other staff within the Finance team of Council along with providing general administrative support to the whole business. You will be an effective team player with proven experience in a similar role along with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Applications are invited for the position of Store Person. The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient and effective purchasing and warehousing support to Council. You will be proficient in the undertaking of duties relating to standard stores operating procedures along with maintaining a high level of operational performance in accordance with business objectives.

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking applications for the position of Gardener in the Parks & Gardens team of Council. The successful applicant will need to have knowledge and experience in the maintenance of turf, gardens, trees, irrigation systems and the ability to operate a range of related plant and equipment.
