PUBLIC NOTICE
Council’s Draft Generic Plan of Management is being placed on public exhibition in accordance with s. 38 of the Local Government Act 1993, from the 4 April 2026 to the 18 May 2026.
Submissions from the public are invited and will be received until close of business on 18 May 2026.
All submissions are to be made in writing and addressed to:

The Draft Generic Plan of Management can be viewed below or in person at Council’s offices situated at 61 Darling Street, Wentworth NSW 2648 and the Midway Centre, 3 Midway Drive, Buronga NSW 2739.
Please note that any submission may be included in the Council business paper for consideration at an Ordinary Meeting of Council.
A Public Hearing, as required by s.40A the Local Government Act 1993, will be held on 22 April 2026, at the Wentworth Shire Council offices situated at 61 Darling Street, Wentworth NSW 2648, commencing at 6pm. All members of the public are invited to attend.
