COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND

Roads Act 1993. Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.

By Notice published in the NSW Government Gazette No. 309 dated 1 August 2025, (2025-309-2), Wentworth Shire Council compulsorily acquired land for road widening purposes Lot 542 DP 1297629 being part of the land comprised in folio 2584/764612.

Council will dedicate the acquired land as a public road (Wilga Road) in accordance with the Roads Act 1993 – Section 10.
