Wentworth Shire Council is hosting a Free Safe Towing Workshop and professional Weighing Sessions ($350 value) to help our community stay safe and legal on the road.

Make sure your set-up is compliant and safe—especially if you are headed to Queensland, where enforcement is very strong and targeting caravans. Whether you tow a trailer, horse float, boat, or caravan, these sessions will ensure you are fully compliant.

What you will gain:

  • Professional Weights: Know your actual weights, towing capacity, and loads.
  • Expert Guidance: Tips on brake controllers, load equalisers, tow balls, and safety chain configurations.
  • Practical Knowledge: Maintenance “must-do’s” and best practices for vehicle configuration.
  • Interactive Learning: A 1-hour workshop followed by a 1-hour group vehicle inspection and discussion.
