Double demerits are in force from Friday 23 January until Monday 26 January 2026 inclusive. Get caught speeding, using a mobile phone illegally, not wearing a seatbelt or wearing one incorrectly, or not wearing a motorcycle helmet this holiday period and you’ll face double the points.
