R2026/10 - WHS and Risk Officer
Full time permanent position
An exciting opportunity exists for a committed and motivated individual to join Wentworth Shire Council as the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Risk Officer. You will be part of a dedicated team assisting with the development and promotion of WHS and risk management systems that foster a participative, safe and compliant working culture. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified, with an experience/background in WHS and risk management and a dedication to drive safety and risk throughout Council.
The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probation period and has a commencement salary range of $83,985.20 to $86,097.95 (dependent on experience/qualifications) plus 12% super based on a 70 hour fortnight. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
