Landfill Attendant
Full time permanent position
Wentworth Shire Council is seeking a suitable and motivated individual for the position of Landfill Attendant. As a member of the team, you will be required to attend gate duties at Council’s waste management facilities, including the Buronga Landfill, as well as the transfer stations at Wentworth, Pomona and Dareton. Primarily you will be required to inspect loads, operate weighbridge software, provide a high level of customer service and operate heavy plant and equipment. Experience in operating heavy plant and equipment is advantageous.
The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probation period has a commencing salary of $61,582.82 plus 11.5% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
