Tourism Officer

Permanent part time position – 30 hours per fortnight, including weekends

Council is seeking applications from those who would like to work within the tourism sector at the Wentworth Visitor Centre.

If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are able to work in a small team environment, have a good general knowledge of the Wentworth and surrounding regions, and are passionate about making Wentworth a fantastic place to visit, then this position is for you.

The successful applicant will work in a team environment on a rotating shift that includes work on the weekend and public holidays.

This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period and has a commencement hourly rate of $30.57 plus 11.5% superannuation.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
