Planning Proposal to amend the Wentworth Local Environmental Plan 2011

NOTICE OF PUBLIC EXHIBITION & COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

In accordance with Section 3.34(2)(c) and Schedule 1 Clause 4 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Wentworth Shire Council gives public notice of the exhibition of a planning proposal to amend the Wentworth LEP 2011.

The proposal seeks to amend:

  • The minimum lot size of R5 zoned land in Dareton from 5000sqm to 3000sqm
  • Fix an error on the map where R5 zoning and a 5000sqm MLS encroaches onto Lot 32 & 374 DP 756961

Pursuant to the conditions of the Gateway Determination issued by the Department of Planning and Environment, the following supporting documents will be concurrently exhibited:

The exhibition documents will be on display until 5 December 2023.

All interested persons are invited to make written submissions, either by email or post, to be received by 5:00pm, 5 December 2023. If an objection is made, the grounds of objection must be specified in the submission. Any submissions received may be made public unless a request to withhold is made.
