Wentworth Shire Council has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join the Finance team.
The successful applicant will provide an efficient and effective payroll service to Council within the scope of the relevant awards, statutory requirements, along with Council policies and procedures. You will have experience and practical knowledge of payroll systems along with sound financial skills and business acumen.
The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probation period and has a commencement salary of $61,759.78 + 10% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
