Council Services in Wentworth to relocate

Wentworth Shire Council services are relocating to the newly completed Wentworth Visitor Centre, located at 61 Darling Street, Wentworth.

The new facility will house the Council Administration Office, Visitor Information Centre, Wentworth Library, Wentworth Conference Centre, Council Chambers and more – bringing all services together in one location for your convenience.

Wentworth Shire Council staff will finalise the move this Friday afternoon (4 October), however the main office will remain open to the public.

Wentworth Visitor Information Centre located at 66 Darling Street will be open on Saturday 5 October, closing Sunday 6 & Monday 7 for relocation.

The Wentworth Visitor Centre will open to the public from 8:30am, Tuesday 8 October 2024.

Regular operating hours at the new centre will be:

Council Administration Office:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5pm

Wentworth Library
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm
Sunday: Closed

Wentworth Visitor Information Centre
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am – 2pm
