Wentworth to host Inland Tourism Awards!
This year’s Inland NSW Tourism Awards Night - “celebrating the rivers, the people, the Outback!”, will be held at the Wentworth Services Sporting Club, on Sunday 29th July 2007.
The Inland NSW Tourism Committee has announced that the gala presentation will be hosted by TV personality, Ray Martin. Stefano de Pieri, international celebrity chef and winner of the 2003 NSW Tourism Award for ‘Outstanding Contribution by an Individual’, will oversee the menu to showcase our local cuisine. Grahame Clarke, Aboriginal Ambassador for the 2002 Year of the Outback will open proceedings with a ‘Welcome to Country’.
The Inland NSW Tourism Awards are held annually to showcase Inland NSW’s finest tourism operators and individuals.
Ted Wilson, Chairman, Inland NSW Tourism Awards, said that tourism awards acknowledge the importance of the tourism industry in regional NSW and highlight the vital role Tourism plays in the growth of the region. It is an opportunity to celebrate business excellence, commitment to customer service and innovation that continues to make this industry a success.
