TREATMENT OF WEEDS

(Clover, Kikuyu, Couch, Cape weed, Thistle)

The following pesticides will be used:

Glysphosate

The control method will be spray.

 Areas that will be sprayed are all Parks and Reserves in Gol Gol, Buronga, Dareton, Curlwaa, Wentworth and Pooncarie.

TREATMENT OF NOXIOUS WEEDS

The following pesticides will be used:

Roundup

Amitrole: for spraying Onion weed.

Powermax: Khaki weed, Salvation Jane, Horehound, Boxthorn, Californian Puncture weed, Daytura Lily, Bathurst burr, Noogoora burr.

The control method will be spray.

These weeds will be sprayed on any and all roadsides and road reserves throughout the settlements and the horticultural areas of the Shire.

These works will commence on 2-1-2008 and cease on 30-6-2008.
