Search Results
After activating a search on any of the search screen, the "hits" will be displayed on the Search Results screen. Following are the features of the Search Results display:
- Total number of hits displayed at top of screen, as well as a grouped number list (at top and bottom of screen) for quick access to any part of the list.
- Display line for each entry includes No., graphical Description display (see below), Title\Sub-title, Author and Year of Publication. Libraries also have the option to display the Branches (or Branch Codes) at which items are available.
- There are a number of images that will display in the Description column. As the images can be changed by each Library they will not be shown in this Help. The first image indicates a MAB Hierarchy record, or a Linked Bibliographic record or Both types of links; the second image indicates the Material Type (book, CD, music, video, etc.); the third image indicates if there are Orders existing on the title; the fourth image indicates if there are Images attached to the record; and the fifth image indicates if there is a URL link in the record.
