STATEMENT OF HERITAGE SIGNIFICANCE

Architecture/Environment:
A masonry dwelling with pebbledash rendering. This structure has a hipped iron roof and a separate roof over a front verandah supported by plain timber posts. The verandah is highlighted by linear timber fretwork. A large bay window is a feature of the facade. The entrance is encased by timber panels with top and side lights. The dwelling is located near the western shores of Lake Victoria and set amidst a landscape dominated by bluebush. Surrounding the homestead are numerous buildings including woolshed, shearers quarters, managers quarters and worksheds.

History:
Originally known as Taraminga, the property was held by Thompson in 1886. The property name changed to Noola in 1892, when Thomas acquired the land.
