STATEMENT OF HERITAGE SIGNIFICANCE
Architecture/Environment:
The single storey brick structure has a new brick fascia. However, structures at the rear exhibit the original form of the hotel. The series of buildings belonging to the hotel display hip iron roofs. An iron awning extends from the side of the rear building. The hotel is located near the Wentworth Wharf site.
History:
Recommendation:
Encourage restoration of the rear portions of the hotel. Views to the wharf site should be opened up to emphasise the historic relationship between the hotel and river activity.
