NOTICE OF ADOPTED PLANS

Wentworth Shire Council wishes to advise the following plans were adopted at Ordinary Council Meeting, Wednesday 21 November 2018:


Wentworth Shire Council Section 7.12 Development Contributions Plan

Wentworth Shire Council Section 64 Development Servicing Plan No 1 – Water Supply and Sewerage Services

Wentworth Shire Council Section 64 Development Servicing Plan No 2 – Stormwater Infrastructure


The primary purposes of the Wentworth Shire Council Section 7.12 Development Contributions Plan are:

a)      to authorise the imposition of a condition on certain development consents and complying development certificates requiring the payment of a contribution pursuant to Section 7.12 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

b)      to assist council to provide the appropriate public facilities which are required to maintain and enhance amenity and service delivery within the area

c)       to publicly identify the purposes for which the levies are required.

 

The primary purposes of the Section 64 Development Servicing Plan No 1 – Water Supply and Sewerage Services are:

a)      provide an administrative framework under which specific water and sewerage infrastructure is provided, land acquired and easements created to allow development within the defined area;

b)      to authorise the Council to impose conditions under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993 when granting consent to development on land to which this plan applies;

c)       ensure that the pre-development community is not financially burdened by the provision of water and sewerage infrastructure, acquisition of land or creation of easements as a result of this development; and

d)      enable the Council to be both publicly and financially accountable in its assessment and administration of the servicing plan.

 

The primary purposes of the Section 64 Development Servicing Plan No 2 – Stormwater Infrastructure are:

a)      provide an administrative framework under which specific stormwater infrastructure is provided, land acquired and easements created to allow development within the defined area;

b)      to authorise the Council to impose conditions under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993 when granting consent to development on land to which this plan applies;

c)       ensure that the pre-development community is not financially burdened by the provision of stormwater infrastructure, acquisition of land or creation of easements as a result of this development; and

d)      enable the Council to be both publicly and financially accountable in its assessment and administration of the servicing plan.
