Food Selling at Markets & Events

A temporary event is any occasion which is not permanent. Examples include fairs, festivals, markets and shows.

If you plan to trade at an event within the Wentworth LGA as a food stall vendor, you are required to be registered with Council and obtain the necessary approvals. To register a temporary food stall with Council, please download and submit the completed form below.

Temporary Events Application to Sell Food

All food businesses, whether you are running a restaurant or a cake stall, must comply with the Food Safety Standards.

NSW Food Authority has developed temporary event guidelines to make food businesses aware of their legal requirements and to suggest ways to assure food safety at the event.
