Australia Day Nominations

Council will be seeking community input into the nominations for Citizen,  Young Citizen, Community Group, Sportsperson, Young Sportsperson, Sporting Team of the Year, and an Environmental Award.  Nominations are sought for nominees who have made a noteworthy contribution during the current (1 st January 2011 and 31 st December 2011) and/or have given outstanding service to the local community over a number of years.

Elibility

• Citizens of the Year must be 27 years of age and over on 26 January 2012
• Young Citizens of the year must be under 27 years of age on 26 January 2012
• Sportsperson/s of the Year must be 18 years of age and over on 26 January 2012
• Young Sportsperson/s of the Year must be under 18 years of age on 26 January 2012
